Member of Parliament of Wa West, Peter Lanchene Toobu has urged Minister-Designate for Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak to ensure that Ghanaians secure an equal opportunity to apply and join the security services.
During the vetting of the Minister-Designate for Interior on Friday, January 24, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, alleged that Members of parliament are usually given protocol recruitments to achieve regional balance.
In an interview with Channel One News, Toobu emphasised that sharing slots for politicians and MPs is not a standard practice.
He criticised the Minority Leader for making such assertions in public.
