The Director of Conflict Resolution for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abraham Amaliba has been named the Acting Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA).
Dr Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President made this known in a statement signed and issued on January 23, 2025.
This appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, was made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and Section 13(2) of the National Road Safety Authority Act, 2019 (Act 993).
The appointment is pending the receipt of the Constitutionally required advice from the governing Board of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
