A security expert has raised concerns that the (NDC) refusal to sign the December 7 general elections peace pact could have significant implications for the upcoming elections. Anthony Acquaye explained that the signing of such peace accords by political parties plays a crucial role in calming tensions before, during, and after elections. He expressed concern that the NDC's decision to abstain from the peace pact might negatively affect the election's outcome. Acquaye urged the National Peace Council to engage with the NDC and bring them to the dialogue table. He emphasized that the NDC's stance against signing the peace accord could disrupt the country's peace ahead of and during the elections.
