Minister-Designate for Government Communication Felix Ofosu Kwakye has indicated that the President of Ghana is committed to running the leanest but most efficient government.
He says the people of Ghana have come to accept the fact that the country can be run with a lean government and still deliver.
Ofosu Kwakye, who was speaking on TV3's Keypoints, said the move by the government will help save money. "Ghanaians have accepted that we will have the leanest and most efficient government," he said.
Adding that "These are some of the ways the president can save money and get the job done, and by and large Ghanaians have accepted this." There have been calls on the president to apologise to Ghanaians and add more ministers.
