Parliament has given its approval to Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak as Minister for the Interior, along with four regional ministers.
The decision was reached following a thorough vetting process conducted by the Appointments Committee.
Muntaka, the Member of Parliament for Asawase in the Ashanti Region, garnered bipartisan support after outlining his vision for enhancing internal security, addressing chieftaincy disputes, and improving the operational efficiency of Ghana's security agencies.
The four regional ministers, who will be overseeing the development and governance of their respective regions, also received Parliament's endorsement after presenting their strategic plans for regional growth and conflict resolution.
