Interior Minister-designate Muntaka Mubarak has indicated that he cannot tell if the John Dramani Mahama government will remove George Akuffo Dampare as Inspector General of Police (IGP).
He made this known when he took his turn during his vetting on January 24, 2025.
Muntaka hinted at a review of the entire security apparatus in the country in line with the vision of the President for the country before any other decision will be taken. "I can assure you that when this committee approves my nomination and I join the team there will be an assessment of all the team members.
His Excellency President Mahama has a vision for which Ghanaians have voted for him.
