The Member of Parliament (MP) for Mpraeso, Davis Ansah Opoku, has called for the establishment of permanent constituency offices to enhance MPs' engagement with their constituents.
In an address to Parliament, Mr Opoku highlighted the challenges posed by the absence of structured platforms for regular interaction between MPs and the communities they represent. "Constituency offices will serve as a central point for MPs to address the concerns of their constituents, communicate their achievements, and foster stronger relationships with the people they represent," Mr.
Opoku said.
He emphasised that such a move would lead to better service delivery and improved communication between lawmakers and the public.
