Outspoken Independent Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as , did not give room for any heckling by his colleague MPs when he stood up to make his first submission on the floor of Parliament since being sworn in on January 7, 2025.

The controversial musician-turned-politician was called upon by the Second Deputy Speaker, Andrews Asiamah Amoako, to comment during a debate on a report on vetted ministerial nominees.

However, indicated to the Second Deputy Speaker that he had been directed by the Majority Chief Whip to comment on a particular appointment, but the report on that appointment was not ready at the time he was called to speak.

This drew some heckling from his colleagues, but clapped back at them. "Mr.
