The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has called on President to appoint more ministers in his government than his initial promise of 60.
According to him, the workload of the government requires more than 60 ministers to administer the state effectively.
Hence, Mahama needs to apologise to the Ghanaian people for promising them only 60 ministers and instead appoint more people to work efficiently.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament during the debate on the approval of ministerial nominees on Thursday, January 23, the Minority Leader stated, "When we make mistakes, let's admit them and apologize. 60 ministers will not help your political cause.
