President John Dramani Mahama has named Adam Mutawakilu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 parliamentary candidate for Damongo, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Water Limited (GWL).
The appointment is contingent upon the Constitutionally mandated advice of the GWCL Governing Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
In a statement issued by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr.
Callistus Mahama, it was announced that Mutawakilu's appointment will take effect from January 22, 2025.
