South African influencer, author and now reality TV star Kefilwe Mabote has opened up about her journey of discovery and redemption.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kefilwe Mabote shed light on her decision to let go of worldly distractions and pleasures and finally see "the truth." On her Instagram story, Kefilwe who has been a pioneer in luxury fashion influencing in South Africa shared a video of herself burning several Versace clothes especially ones with the high-end fashion brand's logo, Medusa. "Burning the Medusa face was one of the most freeing and therapeutic things I've ever done.

It was part of breaking down the idols I unknowingly built in my heart, the very things that distracted me form fully walking with Jesus." Mabote explained that she surrendered fully to Jesus, repented all of her sins and renounced anything that gave the enemy access to her life as God saved her life. "I see life differently now and I've learned to live with humility." The luxury influencer appeared in the third season of the hit Netflix reality show "Young, Famous & African", which follows a group of African socialites as they navigate their glamorous but complicated lives, full of feuds, friendships, and personal revelations.

In her numerous posts, Mabote shared that she was opening up about her journey as she knows how it feels to live in darkness and hopes that her testimony will help someone who needs to hear this.
