The CEO of Lynx Group, Richie Mensah, has offered a piece of candid advice to creatives in the entertainment industry to stop depending on Government support and take charge of your own success.
Speaking during an interview on Hitz FM, the renowned record producer and entrepreneur emphasised the importance of self-reliance in building a sustainable career in the creative arts industry.
Richie disclosed that he consistently shares this sentiment with the artists he mentors at Lynx Entertainment, the record label that has nurtured some of Ghana's biggest stars."Whenever I meet my artists, I always tell them not to rely on the government," he stated.
Richie Mensah explained that the government's role in the creative sector, while important, often falls short of meeting the specific needs of individual creatives.
