The Minister of Roads and Highways, , has announced plans to embark on a nationwide tour next week to evaluate the state of roads across the country.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews on Thursday, January 23, 2025, the minister emphasised his commitment to fulfilling President John Dramani Mahama's pledge to improve road infrastructure in the country. "We are determined to do what the president promised.

I am going to go on a nationwide tour to take a fresh look at the current state of roads before we start addressing these issues next week.

This tour will allow me to assess the situation and report back to the president," he noted.
