President John Dramani Mahama has told the newly sworn into office Energy Minister, John Jinapor that Ghanaians expect nothing but a stable and efficient power supply.

Mr Mahama said this after swearing in the first batch of his approved Ministers at the seat of government in Accra on Wednesday, January 22. "To you, John Jinapor, Ghanaians are looking for a stable and efficient power supply," he said.

To the Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, President Mahama told him that Ghanaians are expecting him to stabilise the Cedi and bring down inflation.

Mr Mahama also told him that the people expect him to ensure that the public national debt is brought to sustainable levels.
