The Appointments Committee of Parliament will today, January 21, vet the ministers-designate Agnes Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare following the postponement of vetting to Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Minister-designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister-designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industries, were originally scheduled to appear before the committee on Tuesday.

However, the Appointments Committee deferred their session due to extended deliberations on other nominees and additional parliamentary business engagements.

Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Local Affairs was the only nominee to be vetted on Tuesday out of the three nominees who were scheduled to be vetted on Tuesday.
