Ministerial nominee for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Abla Dzifa Gomashie has assured that one of the key things her administration will immediately embark on is to revive the creative arts fund.
The ministerial nominee says after eight years of former President Akufo-Addo's administration, she is oblivious of the status of the fund.
Creatives have in the past lamented about not benefitting from the fund anymore and how it has been neglected.
Appearing before the Appointments Committee, the Ketu South MP promised to revive the fund. "I do not know where we stand with the status of the creative arts fund but it is one of the things that I have to do as soon as possible to see where it is and where we can take it from here," she said.
