Asante Kotoko have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of 29-year-old left-back Kwasi Asante on a one-and-a-half-year deal, following a successful medical.
The experienced defender, who has previously played for Hafia Club (Guinea), Simba FC (Tanzania), and Mbabane Swallows (Eswatini), brings versatility to the Porcupine Warriors.
Asante can operate as a left-back, centre-back, or left-winger, providing multiple options for the technical team.
Head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed satisfaction with the signing, stating: "We've been playing with just one recognized left-back in Patrick Asiedu since October last year, so it was crucial to strengthen that area.
