The Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has assured Ghanaians that the Mahama administration will ensure the prudent use of Ghana's natural resources to the benefit of all Ghanaians.

He also assured that the government will protect the environment.

In a short statement accepting his nomination as the Minister, he said "I am profoundly honored to be nominated as the Minister Designate for Lands and Natural Resources by the President, H.E.

John Dramani Mahama. "I am committed to serving our dear nation with dedication, integrity, and hard work to promote the efficient use of our natural resources, protecting our environment, and creating opportunities for economic growth and development. "I extend my deepest gratitude to President Mahama for the trust and confidence reposed in me to steer this vital ministry.
