Ghana's Minister Designate for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has thrown down the gauntlet, pledging to revolutionize the country's sports landscape.

Adams, who is set to take the reins from Mustapha Yussif, has vowed to shift the focus from football to a more holistic approach, encompassing all sports disciplines.

In an interview on GHOne TV, Adams declared that the era of football being the sole beneficiary of government support is behind us. "Sports is not football; sports is not Black Stars.

Sports goes beyond football and football should go beyond Black Stars.
