The Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira branch of the (NDC) has dismissed claims that its chairman, Kofi Ennor, campaigned against the party's interest in the 2024 elections.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the NDC in the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira constituency clarified that at no point during the 2024 election campaign did Kofi Ennor advocate for 'skirt and blouse' voting.

The party denied allegations that Kofi Ennor campaigned for John Dramani Mahama in the presidential race while opposing the NDC's parliamentary candidate, Kofi Arko Nokoe. "A recent publication on the front page of the New Crusading Guide falsely claimed that the constituency chairperson of Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira campaigned for 'skirt and blouse' voting before the 2024 General Election. "We, the constituency executives and grassroots members of the NDC in the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency, categorically deny this allegation and find it necessary to set the record straight.

This baseless accusation is not only a gross misrepresentation of facts but also a deliberate attempt to mislead the public," parts of the statement read.
