Naa Momo Lartey, the ministerial nominee for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, has pledged to strengthen cultural values and address pressing social issues in Ghana.

Her remarks come in response to President Mahama's recent suggestion that a government-sponsored bill would be more effective than the current Private Member's Bill.

The President argued that such an approach would allow for broader consultation and foster national consensus.

During a meeting with the Bishops on Tuesday, January 14, President Mahama highlighted the need to revise school curricula to include moral and cultural teachings that instil Ghanaian and African values in children.
