The burden on Ghanaians will not be eased if the Mahama administration removes the e-levy but introduces a road toll, the Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said.
Afenyo-Markin says the value is the same if e-levy is removed but the toll collection is brought back.
He told the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Agbodza not to reintroduce road tolls if indeed the Mahama administration is committed to lessening the burden on Ghana.
He expresses the view that reintroducing road toll will further impose hardship on Ghanaians.
