A member of the (NPP) Communication Team, Solomon Kusi Appiah has highlighted that while the party was in power, some of its members effectively found themselves in opposition within the party.

Speaking with Bismark Brown, affectionately known as BB, on Happy98.9FM's Epa Hoa Daben show, Appiah described this phenomenon as "power in opposition." He explained that while party communicators tirelessly defended the NPP on various platforms without any financial compensation, they were often sabotaged from within.

Appiah recounted his experience of serving as a National Communicator for the NPP for over a year without receiving a monthly stipend.

He claimed this was because of allegations that he supported instead of the former Vice President, . "Without a doubt, during my time as National Communicator, which lasted over a year, I never received any monthly stipend.
