McDan Aviation has resumed its Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services at Terminal 1 of Kotoka International Airport (KIA) following an agreement with the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) to clear outstanding arrears.
The resumption comes after GACL shut down McDan Aviation's operations in December 2024 due to unpaid debts.
At the time, the company owed over US$3.9 million, a debt that had been accumulating since 2020.
The total debt included US$3,995,622.66 and GH¢13,523.37, of which McDan paid GH¢2 million during the suspension period.
