The Appointments Committee of Parliament on Tuesday, postponed the vetting of ministerial nominees Agnes Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to today, Wednesday, 22 January 2025.

Naa Momo Lartey, nominated as Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, nominated as Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, were initially scheduled to appear before the committee on Tuesday, 21 January.

The delay was attributed to prolonged deliberations on other nominees and additional parliamentary commitments.

Despite the deferral, Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Local Affairs, successfully underwent vetting on the same day.
