Parliament's Appointment Committee will today vet John Dramani Mahama's nominees for Gender and Social Protection and Trades and Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

The two ministers designate, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, were supposed to have been vetted on January 21, 2025.

However, the delay in the vetting of Ahmed Ibrahim and the need for Parliament to meet in their chamber to approve some of the ministers they have vetted necessitated the need to postpone their vetting.

Announcing the decision to postpone their vetting to today January 22, 2025, Hon Mahama Ayariga used the opportunity to plead with the chiefs and people who had come to parliament to support the two nominees.
