The Parliament of Ghana has approved President 's first set of ministerial nominees for the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy, and the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice.
The approved nominees are Dr. , who is now the Minister of Finance; John Abdulai Jinapor, who is now the Minister of Energy; and Dr. , now the Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
The approval came after a debate by the plenary on a report by the Appointments Committee of the House on the vetting of the three appointees on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
