The recent killings of illegal miners who invaded the Cote d'Or concession of AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine have become a major talking point in the country.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Mahama, has called for investigations into the matter.

The latest to add his voice to the incident is Honourable James Adaboh, the presiding member of the Obuasi Municipal Assembly.

While supporting the President's call for investigations, he urged calm and called for cooler heads to prevail.
