Andre Ayew has emerged as a surprise candidate to return to the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March.
Andre has started 2025 on the front foot, scoring twice in three games for his club Le Havre, against boyhood club Marseille and RC Lens.
His performances have led to speculation about a possible return of Andre to the Black Stars fold, with sources close to Ghana coach Otto Addo indicating the manager may change his stance on Andre.
After Otto Addo took charge of Ghana in March 2024, the 49-year-old emphasized the need to build a Black Stars team full of youth, omitting the then 33-year-old Andre.
