Accra FM radio presenter Abdul Karim, popularly known as Nana Romeo, has filed a lawsuit against entertainment pundit Sally Frimpong Mann, and two others, for defamation.
Nana Romeo is demanding a sum of GH₵1 million in damages for what he describes as malicious and reckless statements made against his character.
Details of the CaseThe lawsuit, filed in the High Court of Justice, accuses Sally Mann of making defamatory remarks about Nana Romeo, which were subsequently republished by the fourth defendant, Clement Asamoah, on social media platforms.
According to the statement of claim, these statements were not only damaging to Nana Romeo's reputation but were also false and lacked factual basis.
