Felix Kwakye Ofosu, acting spokesperson for President John Dramani Mahama, has stated that the new government faced significant threats upon taking office that required immediate action.
While some critics have accused the president of spending too much time on forming his government instead of focusing on business, Mr Kwakye Ofosu explained that there were urgent matters the president needed to address straight away after his inauguration.
Speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show on Tuesday, January 21, he said, "Right after the transition, when the President was sworn in, we discovered that there were major, major threats that needed to be eliminated immediately.
