A member of the communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Awal Mohammed has questioned President John Dramani Mahama's decision to use his brother's jet for his travels.
President Mahama used his brother's private jet for his recent travels to The Gambia and Senegal.
His Acting Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on TV3's Ghana Tonight Friday, January 17, 2025, explained that the presidency has not yet received the report on the state of the presidential aircraft, and the President, prior to his swearing-in, has been using the Dzata aircraft. ]He further indicated that Mr Mahama's usage of his brother's jet will be at no cost to the state.
But Awal MohmmAED Now, the same people who opposed a private person renovating the President's private residence are saying the President used his brother's private jet for free.
