The chiefs and residents of Adaklu in the Volta Region have expressed their support for the nomination of Kwame Governs Agbodza as the Minister for Roads and Highways by President John Dramani Mahama.
According to the residents, the Adaklu MP's nomination is the surest path to improving the roads in the constituency and across the Volta Region. "We, the Chiefs and the good people of Adaklu, would like to express our gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for choosing our son, Kwame Governs Agbodza, as the Minister-designate for Roads and Highways.
We want to assure the nominee of our support in ensuring he delivers on his mandate as a Minister," said Togbe Agbobada IV, a Senior Divisional Chief of the Adaklu Traditional Area, during a brief ceremony celebrating the nomination. "As a constituency, our major challenge is our road network, which is in a very bad state.
We believe that with our son in charge of the Ministry now, he will deliver to alleviate our challenges, if not entirely, at least significantly.
