The Minister of Roads and Highways-designate, , has praised President for his commitment to limiting the number of ministers in his administration to 60, highlighting the move as a means to reduce wasteful public expenditure.
During his vetting by the Appointments Committee on Monday, January 20, Agbodza emphasised that Mahama's decision to stick to this pledge, including Deputy Ministers and Regional Ministers, demonstrates his dedication to keeping his promises.
Mr Agbodza described Mahama as a "man of his word," noting that many doubted a president would maintain such a limit on the number of ministers.
The Adaklu lawmaker also pointed out that this step was a positive example of fiscal responsibility, reinforcing the President's focus on ensuring a leaner and more efficient government.
