Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has accused Chairman of the Appointments Committee, Bernard Ahiafor of acting in "bad faith" by proceeding to vet Roads and Highways Minister-designate, Governs Kwame Agbodza without the presence of minority MPs.
On Monday, January 20, even before the vetting of the Roads Minister-designate could begin, MPs on the committee had various exchanges and disagreements on standing orders and other matters not in relation to the vetting of the Minister-designate.
Bernard Ahiafor, the Chair of the Committee then directed that the meeting be suspended for five minutes.
Subsequently, the vetting proceeded before the Minority MPs could resume from the break.
