Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza has called for a review of how road contracts are awarded in the country.
This follows the huge debts in the sector that he said the previous Akufo-Addo administration has left behind.
He said the Akufo-Addo administration left behind a minimum debt of 100 billion Ghana Cedis commitment.
Appearing before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Monday Janury 20, the Adaklu lawmaker said "It is the finance minister's responsibility to gather the money to pay for the debt.
