The Minister-Designate for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to addressing Ghana's infrastructure challenges by prioritising the completion of stalled and abandoned road projects.
Appearing before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Monday, January 20, the Adaklu Member of Parliament outlined his vision for tackling the country's critical road infrastructure needs during his tenure.
Agbodza stressed that his ministry's first-year agenda will center on ensuring that stalled road projects, many of which have left communities disconnected and economies stifled, are brought to completion.
He noted that this approach aligns with President John Dramani Mahama's directive to prioritise ongoing infrastructure projects before embarking on new ones. "The President has already given an indication that he will complete ongoing projects.
