Substitute Darwin Nunez delivered a stoppage-time masterclass, scoring twice to secure Liverpool a dramatic 2-0 win over Brentford and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

With Liverpool's wait for a first league win in 2025 looking set to continue, Nunez came to the rescue.

In the 91st minute, the Uruguayan latched onto a low cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold to score from close range, breaking the deadlock.

Just two minutes later, he struck again, capitalizing on a swift counter-attack to double the lead in a crowded Brentford penalty area.
