The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has congratulated Haruna Iddrisu on his appointment as the Minister of Education-designate. "Your extensive experience in governance, policy development and legislation uniquely positions you to address the pressing challenges confronting the higher education sector in Ghana," UTAG said in a statement.

UTAG expressed confidence in Haruna Iddrisu's leadership to advance quality education, tackle infrastructure and funding deficits, fostering research and innovation, and enhancing the welfare of all stakeholders in the education sector.

UTAG further pledged its full support and collaboration with the Education Minister-designate to initiate policies that will strengthen Ghana's educational framework and contribute to the nation's sustainable development.
