President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has announced a constitutional review committee.
This is in fulfillment of his promise to review the 1992 constitution of Ghana.
The constitution review committee is expected to identify the gaps and the challenges in the implementation of previous constitutional review work done in 2010 and 2023 The team is also expected to engage stakeholders to solicit their views on the proposals for amendments and make actionable recommendations.
They are expected to present their recommendations within five months.
