President John Dramani Mahama has renewed the curfew imposed on the Bawku Municipality and its surrounding areas in the Upper East Region through an Executive Instrument.
The revised curfew hours, now set from 8:00 p.m.
to 5:00 a.m., will take effect on Monday, January 13, 2025, replacing the previous dawn-to-dusk restriction.
The government has also enforced a total ban on the possession of arms, ammunition, and offensive weapons within the municipality and its environs.
