President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Commission.
The appointment, made in accordance with Article 195(1) of Ghana's 1992 Constitution and Section 11(1) of the Petroleum Commission Act, 2011 (Act 821), was announced in a letter signed by Dr.
Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.
Victoria Hardcastle's appointment is pending the constitutionally required advice from the Board of the Petroleum Commission in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
