A 5-year-old boy, Crispin Omane has been killed by a truck in Begoro in Eastern Region while returning from school.
The incident occurred on Friday, January 17, 2025, when suspect driver Seth Lartey, 58, was driving a Hyundai Kia Rhino with registration number GM 906-21 from Apaa Junction toward the main lorry station in Begoro.
According to reports, while branching at the roundabout near the ECG office, the vehicle's back right-hand tyre struck the child who was walking along the road.
The victim was rushed to the Begoro District Hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead by the medical doctor on duty while receiving treatment.
