A member of the communications team of the National Democratic Congress, Beatrice Annan, has refuted claims made by Krobea Kwabena Asante, an aide to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, regarding discussions during a recent meeting between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the new government.
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, President John Mahama, alongside Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and other members of the government, held a meeting with the IMF to address Ghana's economic challenges.
However, shortly after the meeting, Krobea Kwabena Asante, a lawyer and aide to former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, took to social media to share purported details of the discussion.
