Clean-Jobs Resources Limited has refuted allegations of involvement in illegal mining activities at the Offin-Shelter Belt Forest reserve, describing the claims as baseless and damaging to its reputation.

In a press statement issued on January 16, 2025, the company clarified that it had been granted a forest entry permit to undertake a reforestation project in the degraded portions of the reserve.

Upon arriving at the project site, the company discovered illegal mining operations allegedly carried out by individuals associated with BAM Mining and Construction Limited, a group that the Minerals Commission has no record of licensing.

Clean-Jobs Resources reported the illegal activities to the District Forestry Service Division and the Nkawie Divisional Police Command but noted that no immediate action was taken by authorities.
