Deputy Director of Elections for the governing (NDC), Mahdi Gibrill, has posited that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has not recovered from the humiliating defeat they suffered in the 2024 general elections.
He stated that the NPP and its members are going through unprecedented shock following their defeat.
According to the politician, the NPP's behavior on the vetting committee of the Minister-designate for Finance, Dr.
Cassiel Ato Forson, and the questions they asked him about the 'No Fee Stress' policy, as well as their demand for the scrapping of the betting tax and E-Levy, is an act of desperation by the NPP.
