Kobby Mensah, a professor of Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School has developed an innovative software known as Admissions Checker, to simplify the university admissions process for Senior High School (SHS) students.
The software uses students' West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) grades and high school courses to determine their eligibility for admission to various universities and programmes.
Prof Mensah explained "The software is designed to provide students with realistic choices and opportunities for university admission.
Students can receive a report indicating their admission opportunities in percentage terms by inputting their academic records.
