George Opare Addo, the Minister-Designate for Youth Development and Empowerment, has pledged to deploy the most aggressive and transformative policy framework for youth development in Ghana's history.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Addo expressed his profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the nomination, emphasising that this is not just a personal milestone but a collective opportunity to rewrite the story of the nation's youth.
He noted that together with Ghanaians, he will decent jobs, empower millions, and lift young people out of poverty.
He stressed the urgency of the task at hand, stating that there is no time for long bureaucracy and that his doors are always open to all young Ghanaians, regardless of their political persuasion, creed, or background. "My Mind Dey for You!" he declared, urging young people to start their businesses, initiatives, and dreams to make them Ghanaian success stories.
