Management of the Accra High School has acknowledged receipt of over 2400 tablets from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ghana Education Service (GES). This initiative falls under the government's 'One-Student- One-Tablet' policy targeted at providing teaching and learning systems, digital learning content, and electronic devices to all Senior High and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools nationwide. Speaking at the 101 Founder's Day Anniversary of Accra High School, Madam Evelyn Nabia, the Headmistress of the school emphasised the need for this declaration on circulated reports purportedly suggesting that the school had not received the promised equipment from the Ministry. She added that the students would be able to use tablets starting next year after the teachers receive training on the learning modules on these devices to properly instruct students on their use. "Beginning next year, all students in Accra High School, are going to be studying with tablets. As we speak, they're currently being stored in our warehouses.
