Mahama Ayariga, Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, is reportedly set to become the next Majority Leader in Ghana's Parliament.
Sources within the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have indicated that the party plans to make changes to its parliamentary leadership following President Mahama's decision to nominate the current Majority Leader, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, for the position of Finance Minister.
Mahama Ayariga, a seasoned legislator celebrated for his deep understanding of parliamentary rules and ability to foster collaboration, is expected to be named as Dr Forson's successor.
Ayariga's political career spans several decades.
